°8 fresh peaches – peeled, pitted and thinly sliced

°¼ t ground cinnamon
°⅛ t ground nutmeg
°1 t fresh lemon juice
°2 t cornstarch
°1 cup all-purpose flour
°¼ c white sugar

°1 t baking powder
°½ t of salt
 °6 tsp unsalted butter, cooled and cut into small pieces
°¼ cup boiling water
°3 tablespoons of white sugar
°1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 levels F (220 levels C).
2nd step
In a large bowl, combine the peaches, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and cornstarch. Toss to evenly coat and pour directly into a 2-quart baking dish. Baking in preheated oven about 10 min.
Step 3
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, stir together flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the butter with your fingertips or a pastry blender until the combination resembles coarse flour. Stirring in water to just mixed.
Fourth step
Remove the peaches from the oven and spoon the filling over them. Sprinkle the whole cobbler with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake until topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
